Marc Zimmerman is a Member of the Firm where he concentrates his practice in estate planning, estate and trust administration, and Surrogate’s Court practice.

Marc brings a comprehensive approach to estate planning, developing integrated strategies that combine pour-over wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, financial powers of attorney, and healthcare documents tailored to each client’s unique circumstances. He works with a broad range of clients from young professionals to high-net-worth families with a focus on building long-term relationships and ensuring plans evolve alongside his clients’ lives.

In estate and trust administration, Marc guides families through all aspects of the administrative process with sensitivity and efficiency, representing executors, trustees, and beneficiaries, appearing in Surrogate’s Courts throughout the New York region to represent client interests and facilitate the settlement of estate matters. He supervises the preparation of Federal and State Estate Tax Returns and Federal Gift Tax Returns, and implements generation-skipping and charitable planning components for multi-generational wealth transfer.

Marc has extensive experience in charitable planning, forming private foundations and advising clients on tax-advantaged philanthropic giving strategies. He represents directors and officers of foundations in connection with their fiduciary obligations and governance responsibilities.
