Sue is primarily a corporate transactional lawyer, advising and assisting middle market and development stage companies on a wide range of general corporate matters, including corporate governance, commercial contracts and employment agreements, and in structuring and executing mergers and acquisitions and private equity and debt financings. She also represents lenders in structuring, negotiating and documenting commercial lending transactions, including syndicated loans, asset-based loans, mezzanine financings and acquisition financings.
Sue attended Brandeis University where she received her B.A. degree in American Studies and Rutgers University School of Law where she received her J.D. and was a member of the Rutgers-Camden Law Review. Upon graduating from law school and following her admission to the New York State Bar, Sue worked as a corporate associate at Cravath, Swaine & Moore and Schulte Roth & Zabel. Sue then joined Barclays Bank PLC as Assistant General Counsel. After leaving Barclays she worked as a Corporate Counsel at Day, Berry & Howard. Sue joined Berkowitz, Trager & Trager as Of Counsel in 2004 and was admitted as a Member in 2016.
